This window opens each spring. Applicants should be able to show a measurable reduction target and a route to a paying customer within twelve months.

Who can apply

Pre seed or seed stage, technical founder on the team, and a pilot partner identified.

What the committee expects to see

A problem statement written in plain language, with the cost of the problem today
Evidence that someone other than the founder wants this solved
A budget for the award broken down by line, adding to the amount requested
Three milestones with dates the committee can check against
Formation papers and an employer identification number

Applications are read by two committee members independently. Where the two scores differ by more than fifteen points a third reader is added. Every applicant receives the written feedback.
