Terms, privacy and the things we are obliged to tell you
Written to be read. If any part of this is unclear, ask and we will explain it in plain language.
Terms of service
By opening a profile you agree to give accurate information, to keep your sign in details private, and to use the platform only for lawful business purposes. We may suspend a profile where information proves to be false, where we are required to by law, or where activity puts other customers at risk. You may close your profile at any time, subject to settling any outstanding balance.
An application is not an offer of credit. An offer exists only once it is issued in writing in your dashboard, and it lapses after fourteen days if it is not accepted.
Lending disclosures
All facilities are fixed rate and fixed term unless the agreement states otherwise. The annual percentage rate, the origination fee in dollars, the total amount repayable and the full repayment schedule are shown before you accept. There is no penalty for settling early. Late instalments carry a charge of twenty five dollars or five percent of the instalment, whichever is lower.
Credit is subject to underwriting, identity verification and applicable state law. Not every applicant will be approved, and approval amounts may differ from the amount requested.
Digital asset risk
Digital assets are volatile. Where you borrow against collateral, a fall in market value increases your loan to value ratio. At seventy five percent a margin call is issued and you have forty eight hours to add collateral or reduce the balance. If the call is not cured, collateral may be sold, and the amount realised may be lower than the market price at the time of the call. Digital assets held as collateral are not deposits, are not insured by any government agency, and may lose value.
Grant terms
Grants are discretionary. Applying does not create an entitlement to an award. Awards are paid in two tranches and the second tranche depends on evidence of the agreed milestone. Recipients agree to a short six month report. Awards may be taxable income, and recipients should take their own tax advice.
Privacy notice
We collect the information you give us, the documents you upload, and technical records such as sign in times and device details. We use them to assess applications, meet legal obligations, prevent fraud and operate your accounts. We do not sell personal information. We share information with our identity verification, custody and payment partners strictly to deliver the service, and with regulators where the law requires it.
Records are kept for seven years after a relationship ends, as financial rules require. You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete anything we are not obliged to keep, by writing to the address below.
Security
Passwords are stored using a salted key derivation function and are never visible to staff. Sessions expire and can be revoked from your settings page. Every staff action against a customer file is written to an audit trail that cannot be edited from the console.
Complaints
Write to [email protected] or to the address below. We acknowledge within two business days and give a final response within fifteen. If you remain unhappy you may refer the matter to the relevant state regulator, and we will tell you which one applies to your case.
